Daniel Matějča Violin
He started to play violin when he was 4 years old. His first teacher was his mother O. Voličková. Since the age of 5 Daniel took private violin lessons with prof. I. Štraus. He continue to study with him at Music school in Liberec.

Despite his young age, Daniel has already won several competitions, including 1st place at the Maestro Josef Muzika International Violin Competition in 2013–2017 and absolute winner at the primary schools of music competition in 2017. After winning at the Kocian Competition, Daniel was invited to perform at concerts of violin virtuoso Pavel Šporcl.

In 2017, he was awarded the “Golden Nut” prize. He won 1st place at the Jugend Musiziert competition in Halle, and last year he played the Mendelssohn Violin Concerto with the Liberec Symphony Orchestra. Daniel has also attended a number of violin classes, including music classes in Litomyšl, the Liberec International Violin Academy, and the Orpheus International Music Academy in Vienna, Austria, where he studied under a number of professors including S. Schipps, S. James, M. Frischenschlager, J. Vodička and Ch. Tetzlaff.
