Martin Chudada Piano

Born in Žilina, Slovakia, Martin began to play the piano at the age of six. Just two years later he began studies under a special arrangement at the Žilina Conservatory in the class of Prof. D. Švárná. Since 2014 Martin has been living in Prague, where he attends the Jan Kepler Grammar School as well as being a student of Prof. M. Cibulková at ZUŠ Jižní Město. Another influence on his ongoing artistic development is the excellent pianist I. Kahánek.

Since his early childhood, Martin has been winning international competitions (Concorzo internazionale di ezecuzione pianistica Agropoli – 1st prize, Amadeus Brno – 1st prize, the Peter Toperczer International Piano Competition in Košice, Slovakia – 2nd prize and Award of the President of the Slovak Republic, Naples International Piano Competition - 1st prize, and the Laureate title at the „Young Piano“ Prague conservatories competition). He made his debut as a soloist with the State Chamber Orchestra, Žilina, at the age of ten. Later, he performed as a solist with the Košice State Philharmonic Orchestra as well.

In 2015, Martin won the following awards: Concertino Praga International Radio Competition - 1st prize, Slovak Conservatories Competition – 1st prize, and the Broumov Key International Piano Competition – 1st prize. In 2016, Martin won 1st prize at the Beethoven‘s Hradec International Piano Competition, where he competed in the 35 years and under age category. Then, in November 2016, Marin won 1st prize at the Virtuosi per musica di pianoforte Competition in Ústí nad Labem.
